Our Mission Statement - No Consolidation
What is it that you want your local government to do ? This is the central question that we as a community should be asking ourselves. What's most important to you? What are your primary concerns for your city, your neighbornood, your school, and your family? Consolidation cannot cure the issues of crime, education, corruption, and jobs. There's no simple cure or magic wand, and we can't save Memphis, on the back of Shelby County. We understand the frustration of many of our friends, but its time to demand a new era of Good Governance.
Save Shelby County.Org (SSC) is a grass-roots non-partisan organization to provide factual information and alternate solutions to Shelby County, TN voters about the proposed consolidation of Shelby County and City of Memphis governments.
SSC will provide information resources through public appearances, press releases, and its web site, www.saveshelbycounty.org.
